Butte Mineral and Gem Club
We are here to provide enjoyment and education of various earth sciences and rock hobby activities.
We are a non-profit organization devoted to the study of minerals, fossils, lapidary and related arts.
WE WELCOME EVERYONE OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES!
Meetings
If you like minerals, gems, jewelry, or fossils come join us.
Meetings are held on the Third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM
Unless stated otherwise the location will be:

Activities
Monthly – Meetings featuring hobby related programs
Summer – field trips to collect minerals, fossils and gemstones. There are trips to localities like Crystal Park, Bernicem Calvert Hill and other local areas.
Lapidary shop – The club has a large lapidary shop with equipment for faceting, cabochon making, jewelry making and large saws to cut your lapidary material.

Membership
Annual membership of the Butte Mineral and Gem Club is as follows:
Individuals $15/year
Family $20/year
Membership includes membership in the Montana Council of Rock and Mineral Clubs and the Northwest Federation of Mineralogical Societies.
In order to become a member please present your application and annual dues in a mail or at a meeting. Please include the following in your membership application: Name(s), Address, City, State, Zip, email, and Phone(s).
